Next Monday, the Scout meeting will be held at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper NE, due to electrical work at the Church.

Troop re-registration fees are due now!

Junior Leadership Training will be held on December 4, from 8 AM to 3:30 PM. Lunch will be provided. All Staff members and Patrol and Assistant Patrol Leaders should attend, as well as Scouts interested in becoming leaders next year.

Instruction on conducting Color Guard ceremonies was held by Turner A.

This weekend is the Bosque Del Apache campout, near Socorro. We'll pack at 5 PM on Friday (note new days) and leave Saturday morning early. Patrols finished preparing menus, and got instruction on cold weather camping techniques.

A Troop Committee meeting is on Tuesday, 7 PM. All adults are invited to help set policy and hear an important message from Scoutmaster Mike Mayhew.

2011 registration fees are due on November 22nd.

The last night for advancement for the Fall Court of Honor will be November 29th. Wrap up those merit badges!

Remember the La Mesa Presbyterian Feast of Love service project coming up on Nov 24th and 25th.

The popcorn Show and Sell on Saturday SOLD OUT! So, there was no popcorn to sell Sunday. Great job, guys!

There are still several Scouts who need to pay their camp fees for Conchas Lake and Bandelier. And, while the checkbook is out, your re-registration fees for 2011 are due by November 22nd!

Scouts made plans for the upcoming Bosque Del Apache campout.

Allan M attended Den Chief training last weekend.

Sunset Memorial Park would like a Color Guard for the ceremony on Thursday.

And, please put the La Mesa Feast of Thanksgiving on your calendars for Wednesday and Thursday, November 24 and 25.

Now is the time to deliver popcorn from your take-order sales, and collect the funds.
All the money needs to be turned in by next Monday!

There will be two more Show-n-Sell events. Saturday at the Sandia Labs Federal Credit Union at Juan Tabo and Comanche (9-1) and Sunday at Big Lots, Juan Tabo and Menaul from 11-2.

Bosque del Apache campout is coming up on the Nov 19-21 weekend.

A Life-to-Eagle conference will be held on Thursday, Nov 4th, 7 PM at Sombra Del Monte meeting hall. All Scouts working toward Eagle in the next year ought to attend.

Registration and dues need to be turned in by November 20th!
